Commercial Lines Account Manager
Our client is an employee-focused privately held insurance agency headquartered in the heart of Fairfax County. As an all-lines insurance broker, they have been serving the WDC regional community since the 1990s. This role includes support from an account administrator!

Position Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for a small team managing midsize accounts in a wide variety of areas including a focus on A&E (architects & engineers) and other professional service organizations such as law firms, consultants, accounting firms, etc.
- Working with P&C coverages and products including professional liability coverages and products.
- With the support of an account administrator, your team will manage up to 60 accounts in the range of $20k - $1M in premiums.
- Provide support for the producer in the way of day to day account management, renewals, carrier relationships and negotiations, client relationships and new business proposals.
- The successful candidate will be very bright, polished and have high level communications skills.
- Provide technical support to producer, identifying growth opportunities, and analyzing client needs.
- Provide expert advice and consultation to associates and clients on risk management issues and complex risks.
- Supervise and work with the Assistant Administrator to ensure that basic client service tasks have been completed.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses and support team members in growing to the next level.
- Keep team members current on coverage and industry related changes; mentor & coach existing employees
