Cashier Associate (SEASONAL)

As a Cashier/Customer Service Associate at Mountain Hardware and Sports, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently processing transactions at the cash register. In this role, you will both help on our sales floor, directing and helping customers find products, to running the cash register. If you have experience in cashiering, or customer service, and enjoy a fast-paced environment, this position could be a great fit.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers, offer assistance in locating products, and provide answers to questions
• Provide knowledgeable product recommendations, suggest complementary items, and process transactions accurately
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Assist with stocking, loading, and unloading merchandise, as well as maintaining a clean and organized store environment
• Update product knowledge and stay informed about promotions and industry trends to better assist customers

Skills and Qualifications

• Must be able to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs

Experience

• Customer service: 1+ year (preferred)
• Cashiering: 1+ year (preferred)
