Account Manager/Office Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Account Manager/Office Manager to join a team. This role is pivotal in maintaining and growing small commercial insurance accounts while ensuring the smooth operation of an office. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong background in Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $55,000 annually
- Commission: 25% on new business and 5% on renewals, with potential for escalation based on sales performance

Responsibilities
- Manage and service a book of small commercial insurance accounts, totaling approximately $1 million in premium and $150,000 in revenue.
- Quote new and renewal business with carriers such as Hartford, Hanover, Travelers, Chubb, Progressive, and others.
- Collaborate with wholesale and surplus lines brokers, including RPS, Amwins, TAPCO, and CRC.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
- Oversee office operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functionality.
- Act as a liaison between clients and the Printing Industry Benefits Trust (PIBT) for health, dental, and vision insurance programs.
- Conduct outreach during the open enrollment period (October-December) and provide ongoing support throughout the year.
- Participate in system training and take initiative to improve agency processes.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Commercial P&C insurance.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Applied TAM software is preferred (training will be provided).
