Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday | 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM

About This Opportunity

Citadel Security USA is hiring a Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer to provide overnight security services within a residential apartment community in Denver. This position focuses on property protection, resident support, and maintaining a safe atmosphere throughout the assigned community.

The officer assigned to this post will conduct regular inspections of the property, assist with access-related concerns, and serve as a professional point of contact for residents, guests, and onsite personnel. Key Responsibilities

Property Patrol & Community Monitoring

• Perform scheduled foot patrols throughout residential buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and exterior grounds
• Observe property conditions and identify safety, maintenance, or security-related concerns
• Check gates, doors, amenity areas, and designated access points during patrol rounds
• Maintain a consistent security presence throughout the community
• Monitor for unauthorized activity, trespassing, or violations of community policies

Resident & Visitor Relations

• Provide courteous assistance to residents, guests, contractors, and vendors
• Answer general questions and direct individuals to appropriate resources when needed
• Promote a positive living environment through professional interactions
• Address non-emergency concerns in accordance with site procedures
• Build positive working relationships with community management personnel

Access Management

• Observe entry and exit activity throughout the property
• Verify authorization when access procedures require confirmation
• Assist with monitoring controlled or restricted areas
• Support established community security protocols

Incident Documentation

• Complete daily activity logs and shift reports accurately
• Document incidents, unusual activity, and operational concerns
• Report hazards, suspicious behavior, property damage, or policy violations promptly
• Maintain organized and professional written records

Qualifications

Required

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to consistently work overnight shifts
• Strong observation and situational awareness skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Reliable attendance and professional work habits
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during unexpected situations
• Comfortable working independently throughout the shift

Preferred

• Previous experience in security, residential communities, hospitality, customer service, or related environments
• Experience conducting patrols and monitoring property activity
• Familiarity with incident reporting and security documentation
• Effective conflict-resolution and customer-service skills
