ARC Senior SME (Szeged)

In this role You will:

  • Ensure that we manage, control and develop our operations in a “process designed” manner to deliver value to the Rhine business

  • Drive process simplification, standardization and continuous improvement with the respective operations and optimization teams

  • Establish strong relationship with business partners to ensure smooth operations and successful project delivery

  • Support Business clients in understanding their General Ledger and Reporting

  • Work with the Internal Control team to maintain Control Evaluation Templates

  • Provide effective support to system transformations in all phases of the project

  • Providing deep “process domain expertise” for the relevant process to support operations delivery, silent running, quality management and control

  • Provide guidance, support, training and mentoring for operations teams

  • Support Optimization efforts across the centre

  • Provide technical analysis and feedback regarding impact of projects, upgrades and modification. As well as provide feedback and updates back to the team.

  • Support the Team Leads on identifying technical training opportunities to build knowledge and capability across the department.

  • Support Accounting, Reporting and Control Manager to lead the Risk Management process, ensuring it is truly embedded in local entities and appropriate mitigations are in place. Redefine procedures as appropriate.

  • Drive continuous improvement projects (e.g. via the accounting, reporting & control network).

  • Coaches the wider finance and business teams, to build capabilities and develop competencies and professional qualifications

What You need to be successful:

  • Relevant professional experience in finance and accounting field

  • Recognised accounting qualification (University degree, optional: ACCA and tax advisor certificate)

  • Fluency in English

  • Extensive experience of reporting and MI processes (actuals, RF & plan)

  • Proven track record in controls, compliance & risk management in a multi-national environment

  • Relevant operational and/or design solution experience

  • Experience supporting and implementing strategic plans across a team

  • Relevant post qualification experience to deliver accountabilities of role
