Position Details

• Role: Veterinary Technician
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
• Schedule: Business hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Requirements: Two years of experience as a veterinary technician

We’re seeking a Veterinary Technician who is:

• Experienced: At least 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting, with comfort in both outpatient care and surgical procedures. 
• Skilled in surgery: Experience with anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, and post-operative care. 
• Detail-oriented: Accuracy in documentation and performing tasks is essential to maintain the best care for our patients. 
• Team Player: You’ll be working closely with our doctors, techs, and client support staff, so we need someone who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Compassionate: Our patients are family, and we need someone who shares that love for animals and the human-animal bond. 

You’ll be a valued member of our medical staff by:

• Performing routine lab tests, radiographs, and administering treatments
• Assisting with surgical procedures 
• Providing support to DVMs during exams, surgeries, and treatments
• Educating clients on preventative care and treatment options
• Managing patient care through the pre-operative, operative, and post-operative stages
• Support with inventory management and equipment maintenance
• Preparing and maintaining medical equipment and supplies
