Site Engineer / Junior Site Engineer (Civil / Construction)

Desired candidate qualification and experience: 

• B.E.Civil - Minimum 2 years experience in residential construction / buildings
• Dip.Civil - Minimum 4 years experience in residential construction / buildings

• Must have experience in sub-contractor billing / checking etc
• Working knowledge of Autocad required

• MS Excel / Computer skills a must

• Must be confortable in English, Tamil and additionally Hindi

Typical day at the site:

The responsibilities associated with this job include,

• Supervising overall site execution, labour productivity and work schedule

• Executing the works as per specific requirements and instructions

• Reporting site work progress and informing the Project manager about any expected delays in the future

• Co-ordination with Project manager, HR Department, Third party inspection teams, Clients & Customers / Visitors

• Forecasting of quantities for up to date materials requirement, estimation and bar bending schedules

• Preparation of weekly labour bills according to the work orders

• Responsible for on time attendance, smooth functioning and working of all sub-contractors and labors at the site

• Maintaining updated site documents (stock register's, working drawings, material delivery receipts) as required

• Physically checking the quantity and ensuring the quality of materials delivered at site by the suppliers

• Enforcing personal and material safety at the work site

• Reconciliation of materials and control of tools, materials and equiments withing the site

Location:

This job majorly involves field/site work. It is mandatory to be at our project site at all times of execution. You will have to visit main office every day for reporting of work progress.

The project sites are likely to be in Adyar, T.Nagar, Choolaimedu, Arumbakkam, Urapakkam (GST Road), & Sholinganallur.

Having your own two wheeler and valid driving license required is strongly recommended.

Other information:

You will be assisned to only one project site at a time So, you are expected to be present at the site at all times and individually manage everything at the site. You can expect to have the guidance of the Project engineer and the management whenever it is required.

Your travel expenses for all official work will be reimbursed as per company's policy.
