Mars Snacking Packaging Co-Op Experience 

As a Mars Snacking Packaging Co-Op, you will gain exposure to the following areas: 

• As a Packaging Engineer, you are responsible for the below: 

• Lead and execute packaging innovation projects under the guidance of packaging associates. 

• Support ideating and realizing value leadership and cost savings goals. 

• Develop detailed packaging specifications to ensure quality materials and best value for money on all packaging components used at our facilities, co-packers and co-manufacturers. 

• Perform packaging sustainability assignments to help meet Mars Wrigley sustainability goals. 

• Collaborate with cross functional team members including product development, equipment engineering, activity management, finance, industrial engineer and others. 

• The Mars Co-Op is a 7 month summer/fall program providing excellent depth of experience with various real world Mars projects. 

What we’re looking for: 

• We are looking for agile students who have a drive for results, a desire to learn, and who can quickly build relationships. 

• We are looking for students who are passionate about packaging and the consumer products industry. 

• Prefer a student earning a Packaging Engineering degree. 

• Eligible candidates will intern the summer prior to their final graduation date. 

• Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment. 

• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening. 

• Eligible candidates will be responsible for personal transportation to and from work site during duration of the internship program.
