A career in our Deals Strategy practice, within Deals, will provide you the opportunity to help organisations realise the potential of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and capital markets. Through data driven insights we help our clients move in the right direction ensuring maximum value for their company.

Our team operates across a broad range of sectors, with particular areas of strength in Healthcare, Technology/Digital, Financial Services, Retail and Consumer, Education and Logistics.

Are you looking for an exciting role at a fast growing Strategy team focused on the Deals space? If so, we would be keen to talk. We are currently building and investing in our team in Kuala Lumpur, looking for exceptional individuals to join us.

Responsibilities

As an Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to Deals execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Produce high quality work and collaborate with others to deliver a superior client experience

• Proactively assist in preparation of client proposals, presentation materials and reports

• Commitment to personal career growth and development

• Team player and proactively contribute to business growth 

• Keep up to date with local and regional deals, business and economic issues

• Ensure strong understanding and adherence to internal compliance matters 

• Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand

Requirements

Individuals we are looking to join our team, should preferably have the following:

• At least 2-3 years of working experience

• Interest in areas related to market assessment, commercial due diligence, business plan and growth strategy

• Strategy consulting, financial advisory, banking strategy, investment/private equity, business planning or corporate strategy experience will be advantageous

• Undergraduate/Postgraduate degree in Business/Management/Finance/Accounting or other relevant disciplines

• Strong desire to learn and grow, demonstrate resilience, leadership, teamwork and client servicing skills

• Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) and communication skills in both oral and written English
