Tradesmen International is immediately hiring an experienced Machinist for projects located in Holland, MI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30-$35/hour with $100/per diem based on experience and skill level. If you are a Machinist eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career!
Job Scope:
- Machine shop work
- Working with boring mills
- Setting up jobs on the mills
- Loading and fixating work pieces onto the work table
- Adjusting programs using zero reference points and offsets
- Calculating speeds and feeds
- Making adjustments
- Editing CNC programs to print
- Using micrometers, telescoping gauges, vernier calipers and dial indicators to do quality checks on the parts
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience with CNC horizontal/vertical boring mills
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to use an overhead crane
