*Pet Sitter Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Pet Sitter to provide temporary care for pets when their owners are away. The successful candidate is responsible for providing food, exercise, and companionship for the pets, as well as ensuring their safety and well-being. The Pet Sitter also performs minor housekeeping duties, such as bringing in the mail and taking out the trash, while the owners are away.
*Pet Sitter Duties and Responsibilities
Provide companionship, exercise, and playtime for pets
Feed, water, and administer medication as needed
Ensure the pet’s safety and well-being at all times
Monitor the pet’s health and alert the owner of any changes
Perform basic housekeeping duties as needed
Clean up after the pet, including disposing of waste
Provide updates to the owner on the pet’s progress while they are away
*Pet Sitter Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience providing pet care
Knowledge of pet health, nutrition, and behavior
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and follow instructions
Flexible schedule including nights and weekends
Willingness to travel for pet sitting assignments
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
