The Utility Cleaner is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance the galleys on a daily basis, following the cleaning guidelines set by Onboard Management.

Responsibilities:
- Handle all cleaning materials, chemicals and machinery necessary for the daily operation, in a safe and responsible manner.
- Clean and maintain galley floors, walls, machinery and tools after every service, with emphasis on the health and safety of all staff.
- Participate in all assigned training programs in order to develop skills with a view for future development and potential promotion.
- Work with cleaning machinery as assigned by the shipboard management.
- Cross train on all cleaning machinery.
- Perform all duties according to Shipsan, the European sanitation program, and the United States Public Health rules and regulations.
- Assist with stores and provision loading as directed.
- Monitor the cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and ship property used in the execution of duties.
- Ensure use of authorized-only chemicals
- Attend departmental meetings and trainings as instructed.
- Ensure that personal appearance, uniform and personal hygiene are in accordance with company regulations.
Requirements:
- Intermediate level of English
- Experience and/or training in the hospitality field considered a plus.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with the senior management.
- Work with international team members.
- Age starting 18 years old
- Tattoos are allowed (except offensive and facial)
