SUMMARY

The ECC Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Engineering Change Control (ECC) management and data analysis, which includes three key stages: Engineering Change Request (ECR), Engineering Change Order (ECO), and Engineering Change Notice (ECN). This role ensures that engineering changes are correct, timely, consistent, traceable, and controlled throughout the product lifecycle.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Support engineering changes management throughout the full ECC lifecycle from ECR to ECN.
• Review ECR to ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the change impacts are fully assessed and changes are properly validated before implementation to eliminate potential risks.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure proper cut-in strategy and smooth implementation.
• Monitor and support change execution to ensure a closed loop process.
• Maintain complete and compliant documentation for all change activities.
• Support audits and ensure adherence to ECC governance and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze ECC process data and material master data, proactively develop and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports to track key metrics, monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct material master data auditing according to our data governance rules to ensure data integrity.
• Support CROM (Cost Reduction Opportunity Management) data analysis and provide insights into CROM and ECC integration.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support data-driven decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain ECC database to support ECC system and champion the single source of truth for engineering changes across the global organization.
• Partner with Material Master Management (MMM) functions to ensure seamless alignment and consistency between engineering changes and global product data.
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of global ECC policies and standards.
• Support ECC system integration, process improvement and automation initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Engineering Change Management, PLM systems, or configuration management.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and change control principles.
• Familiarity with BOM (Bill of Materials) structures and their role in change impact analysis.
• Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Agile, Windchill) and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP) is preferred.

EDUCATION & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Design or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Process-driven and strong attention to details.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in an English-based global environment.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma is preferred.

COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Must be proficient in data cleaning, analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Power Query).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
