 *Hourly rate is inclusive of a $1.00 per hour salary stipend and a $1.00 per hour direct care stipend.  Applicants with Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificates, and who are on the State's CNA registry, will be paid an additional $.50 per hour.

• Additional shift differential of $.45 per hour for second shift positions
• Additional shift differential of $.55 per hour for third shift positions
• Additional weekend differential of $.60 per hour while working weekend hours

Job Overview:

Do you have a passion for mental healthcare, but haven’t found a team that shares the same level of enthusiasm and compassionate care?  We believe each staff member plays an integral role in meeting our mission to provide the highest quality of care possible. Riverview Psychiatric Center seeks Mental Health Workers to provide paraprofessional support work involving the direct care, rehabilitation, and behavior modification of patients in state institutions. Responsibilities include implementing programs in the treatment and education of individuals with mental illness, providing direct patient care, and maintaining patient areas. Employees may act as group leader of primary aide over an assigned group of patients. Work is performed under general supervision.

Minimum Qualifications: 

High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of direct care mental health experience.
