About the role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our team. As a ServiceNow Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between our business needs and the capabilities of the ServiceNow platform. Your primary focus will be on analyzing business requirements, designing effective solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business requirements from various stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and create detailed documentation to support development and implementation.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and vendors, to ensure alignment on ServiceNow platform capabilities and project objectives.
Design and configure ServiceNow modules and workflows to meet business needs and improve operational efficiency.
Participate in system testing and validation to ensure solutions are meeting the defined requirements and are error-free.
Identify and resolve issues and roadblocks during the implementation process, escalating when necessary.
Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure they understand and effectively use ServiceNow functionalities.
Collaborate with the ServiceNow development team to provide input and feedback on technical solutions and enhancements.
Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, functionalities, and industry best practices.
Candidate requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with exposure to ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business processes and propose effective solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Detail-oriented with a focus on producing accurate and comprehensive documentation.
Proficiency in using tools such as Microsoft Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and presentations.
Ability to work independently and within a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting project deadlines.
Optional Skills
ServiceNow certification (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) is a plus.
Experience in Agile project management methodologies.
Familiarity with JavaScript and other scripting languages used in ServiceNow development.
