JOB SUMMARY:Plans, prepares and directs the preparation of meals in the kitchen. Performs related administrative duties and supervises designated staff.QUALIFICATIONS:Education & Experience Graduation from a recognized 12 month program in cooking plus two years recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Successful completion of Food Safe I & II.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingAbility to deal with others effectivelyPhysical ability to carry out the duties of the positionAbility to SuperviseAbility to organize workAbility to operate related equipment.The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.
