Job overview

 

One of the most important functions in the handling process of an aircraft: You are responsible for loading/unloading the aircraft. We offer you a unique workplace; you literally work around the aircraft! On the platform, our teams are responsible for many things around the aircraft. For example, we taxi aircraft with tractors to the gate, unload and load the baggage on the platform and coordinate the complete turnaround of the aircraft.

 

Your activities

 

As a Platform employee at Swissport, you will be on the road with a team to prepare the aircraft for departure. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure fast and safe ground handling every day! When you enter service, you will be trained as an all-round employee, which will also allow you to operate various Ground Service Equipment (GSE).

 

At Swissport, there are various career opportunities for positions such as Operator, Pushback/ Tug and Platform Foreman.

 

Your profile

 

You are flexible and enjoy working hard in a dynamic work environment. We consider the following points important:

• Available for at least 30 to 38 hours per week, spread over 5 days (work is done according to a work schedule);
• We work with irregular shifts, also in the weekend and evening/night;
• You are in possession of a valid NL driving license (B);
• You are a team player;
• You are physically strong and able to perform heavy work;
• You have the values ​​of safety and quality high on the agenda and act accordingly;
• You have a sufficient command of the Dutch and English language (A1/A2 level).

What we offer

• A starting salary of €2.729,36 gross per month excluding allowances (€16,58 gross per hour excluding allowances)
• After your trial period, you will immediately receive a contract for 1 year with an extension to an indefinite period;
• After receiving your Schiphol pass, you will start a paid training;
