Overview
This position is committed to providing World Class Service for all Ford Wyoming Center arena events. The Event Security position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security for all events. Special security assignments may be available during non-event days/nights. The security team is a provider of direct service to our guests and must always exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor.
This role pays an hourly rate of $13.00-$14.00.

Responsibilities
- Respond to requests for assistance from staff and visitors for a variety of security issues (fire, medical emergencies, etc.)
- Performs all event and non-event security duties as assigned.
- Admits building staff, suppliers, contractors, visitors, and guests to the facility according to established security procedures.
- Answers information requests from staff and guests during events or as needed.
- Protects Arena equipment, materials, and structures throughout the work schedule.
- Provides regular security functions within the Arena and related areas, prior to, during and after all events.
- Responsible for clean, neat appearance.
- Assist with restricting guest access to restricted locations depending on the event.
- Assist with crowd control and safety during concerts and large events.
- When requested, provide escorts of persons to and from locations within the facility.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Event Managers and/or Manager On Duty.
Qualifications
- Prior security experience preferred, but not required.
- Able to work events as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language required.
- Ability to work beyond traditional business hours, including nights, weekends and select holidays, is required.
- Must demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Must demonstrate a positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
