What you will have an opportunity to do:

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the preparation and cooking of food according to established recipes and standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Assists in the preparation, production and service of food for restaurant, banquet and associate functions.
• Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes by following recipes and/or product specifications.
• Maintain standards of sanitation and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Operate and maintain a variety of kitchen equipment including but not limited to choppers, mixing machines, slicers, steamers, grills, etc.
• Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by management.

 

 

What are we looking for?

• Active Food handler’s certification or the ability to get it 
• Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts
• Requires strong organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds
• At least 21 years of age
• Have a desire to exceed expectations
• An energetic personality
