JOB SUMMARY

The Line Cook at Alcove prepares various dishes with care and consistency, following recipes exactly while maintaining high standards for taste, quality, and presentation. They work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, keeping their station clean and organized while collaborating with both kitchen and front-of-house teams to create exceptional guest experiences. They will be an avid MadTree ambassador who lives the behaviors – Connect, Grow, and Give a F*ck.

We’re looking for people with 1+ year experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment, and some of your responsibilities will include:

• Execute menu items with precision and consistency, maintaining high standards for taste, quality, and presentation.
• Manage your station during service, coordinating timing with other line cooks to ensure smooth service flow to the main restaurant.
• Follow recipes for each dish exactly while applying advanced culinary techniques.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure experiences that exceed our guests expectations.
• Communicate with your fellow cooks, dishwashers, food runners and leadership throughout your shift and on the line to ensure everyone is on the same page and working together.
• Spend up to 16 hours per year volunteering (paid) for MadTree Impact initiatives with excitement, encouraging your teammates to do the same.
