Description
What you will be doing:
- Collect and arrange physical specimens such as blood, swab, urine, and stool for diagnosis.
- Track collected blood samples by initialing, dating, and noting times of collection; maintain daily tallies of collections performed.
- Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and/or electronic) with accuracy and responsibility.
- Explain tests to patients and answer any questions they might have.
- Be responsible for administrative duties such as billing and handling of cash.
What are we looking for?
- HSC Holder with Science subject in preference
- HCA or a Professional Certificate in Laboratory Techniques is desired
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in similar field
- Computer literate
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
