Description
Design, develop, and maintain Eclipse IDE Plugins (Java) and Visual Studio Code/Theia Extensions in TypeScript and Rust Contribute to build infrastructure including GitLab, CI/CD, and client/server apps Provide technical support to stakeholders to enable effective tool usage and resolve issues Implement tests for the regression testing system in order to maintain a very high level of software quality Create test plans, analyze test results and document software errors in Jira/Gitlab Your skills and expertise will be key to driving our projects forward and ensuring the success of our tool solutions. You are a proactive, detail-oriented team player with a strong analytical mindset, able to solve problems quickly, collaborate across teams, and communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field of studies Relevant working experience as a Software Engineer, ideally designing and maintaining developer tools (Eclipse/Visual Studio Code/Theia extensions) using TypeScript, Rust and Java Experience in Java, TypeScript, Rust, and object-oriented programming skills Good knowledge of software design and architectural patterns - ISO/OSI architecture, microservices, UML, SysML would be a plus, but not mandatory Familiarity with version control (git) and code management (Bitbucket/GitLab) Experience with Eclipse IDE, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub), as well as embedded software development in C and project management tools (Jira/GitLab/GitHub) would be a plus, but not mandatory Fluency in English (mandatory) We are on a journey to create the best Infineon for everyone.
