Position Title
Medical Scientific Liaison
Core Mission
With a unique legacy in dermatology as well as decades of cutting-edge innovation,
Galderma is the leading company solely dedicated to skin and advancing the future of
dermatology. For this purpose, the Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) is a key internal
expert, providing a field-based scientific and clinical support to HCPs to maintain a high
level of medical, scientific, and technical knowledge and expertise in relation to
Therapeutics Dermatology.

Key Results Area
The MSL develops and maintains professional relationships with internal and external
customers including healthcare professionals (HCPs) to provide comprehensive
medical & scientific and education support to Galderma initiatives in Ax, Cx and
disease areas of interest. The MSL will focus on providing HCPs, clinical investigators,
professional organizations and patients organizations, the opportunity for scientific
exchange and gathering insights to provide medical, scientific and education support
for prioritized services within Galderma’s Ax, Cx and Therapeutics Dermatology
portfolios.

Specific duties and
responsibilities
• Develop and maintain professional and trustful relationships with thought leaders (KTLs)
and academic centres to ensure access to current medical and scientific information on
areas of therapeutic interest.
• Conduct KTL analysis and segmentation, with tiering based on predefined criteria as
aligned with global Medical and agreed with the local business.
• Contribute to identify physicians, investigators, healthcare providers and stakeholders
requiring support from MSL with the aim to increase the diversity profiles of our KTLs, so
that we better meet the needs of every skin story.
• Gather and generate actionable insights through: Attend congresses, engage with
external stakeholders, stay current in relevant scientific literature, identify medical
Influencers on social media, prepare summaries, and present key perspectives to
Galderma cross functional teams including competitor analyses.
• Develop, maintain, share internally and externally an in-depth knowledge of Ax, Cx and
Therapeutics Dermatology.
• Deliver credible scientific and medical presentations to physicians, healthcare providers
and other stakeholders as needed.
• Provide scientific and technical support for Galderma commercial teams, behaving as a
credible partner to support their immediate needs through non-promotional trainings,
education, presentations, and other engagement.
• As needed; produce, review, and update scientific internally approved presentations.
• Provide field-based support to assist Medical Information in dealing with enquiries.
• Maintain knowledge and awareness of clinical research and publications in Dermatology.
• Support Galderma research by identifying investigators, undertaking scientific exchange
and providing feedback and insight to medical and clinical teams.
• Utilize modern technology platforms to maximize efficiency and limit travel requirements.
Ensure the integrity of the scientific data used in promotional claims and materials, if
requested
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures including but not limited to Code of
Conduct, fleet, IT and confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
