Service Manager Children with Disabilities
Hybrid (2–3 days onsite per week, London)
3-6-month contract (pending permanent recruitment)
£400 per day (umbrella) full time
Start: ASAP

An exciting new interim opportunity has arisen within a Local Authority in London for an experienced Senior Manager with expertise in Children with Disabilities with oversight of 0-25 services whilst the team looks to appoint to a permanent post holder.
About your duties as the Service Manager Children with Disabilities:
- Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Children’s services and liaising with managers across the council in Social work & SEND/Education.
- The council has a longstanding workforce and the strong team has been working collaboratively to support continued improvements within children’s social care
- Leading social work services for all young people including Transition
- The council is currently preparing for an Ofsted inspection and the ideal candidate will be experienced in leading during an inspection period.
Your experience needed as the Service Manager Children with Disabilities:
- Social Care qualified with active registration with SWE
- Previous leadership in Children with Disabilities services as a Service Manager above
- Proven track record in service delivery, partnership engagement and service improvement
- Must be able to demonstrable a clear understanding of what Good looks like, how to bring services forward and demonstrable skills in an improvement journey.
- Must hold a valid enhanced DBS or be able to undertake a new one
- Available references for most recent 5 year's roles
