Job Title: Behavioral Services ManagerDepartment: Behavioral ServicesReports to: Executive Director and/or LiaisonEmployment Type: Full-Time, 37.5+ hoursFLSA Status: Salary, Exempt  POSITION SUMMARYDelaware’s leading private nonprofit agency serving the autism community statewide seeks a candidate to support contracted Behavioral Services funded through Delaware’s Division of Developmental Services. This position is a key member of the Adult Services Leadership Team. The role will deliver, support, monitor, and supervise registered behavioral Technicians (RBT) providing services through programs at Autism Delaware. The position requires an experienced BCBA to lead, support the development of service budgets, and ensure compliance with all audits of service and financial statements. The role fosters relationships with Autism Delaware’s many constituencies, including families, self-advocates, state agencies, and donors. As an organizational leader, the role supports communications and fundraising initiatives. reporting, and software utilization across service areasContribute to strategic and long-range planning in collaboration with agency leadershipEnsure services are responsive, and centered on dignity and respect for all individuals servedStaff Leadership and SupervisionProvide supervision, mentoring, and leadership to program managers and clinical staffSupport staff training and development with a focus on innovation, accountability, and performance improvementMonitor performance metrics, ensure compliance, and address performance concerns fairly and promptlyFacilitate a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and shared decision-makingEnsure all staff contribute to cross-functional teams and uphold agency values in their rolesFoster creative thinking and solution-based approaches to challenges in service deliveryFinancial Oversight and Budget ManagementAssists in the development of service budgets in collaboration with the finance teamTrack revenues and expenses, respond to variances, and propose adjustments as neededIdentify opportunities for cost savings, program sustainability, and new funding streamsEnsure responsible stewardship of resources and adherence to fiscal policiesExternal Engagement and PartnershipsMaintain strong relationships with families, self-advocates, donors, and state agency partnersParticipate in external committees, advocacy efforts, and community engagement activitiesCollaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to improve systems of careSupport fundraising, development, and donor engagement strategies in partnership with the Development teamQuality Improvement and Best PracticesStay current with trends, research, and best practices in autism services and behavioral healthIdentify training and development opportunities to maintain professional expertiseImplement and monitor program improvement plans, ensuring compliance with health and safety standardsLead or contribute to annual agency retreats and strategic planning sessionsOversee risk management, safety protocols, and policy compliance in areas of responsibility NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMaintain a safe and hazard-free work environmentRespond to and manage incidents involving deviation from safety or operational proceduresOversee development and revision of safety-related policies in accordance with regulationsEnsure confidentiality of all business and client information, including compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, including HIPAASupport emergency response planning and readiness across programs WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSFull-time exempt position, minimum 37.5 hours per weekMust be available for occasional evening and weekend responsibilities and emergency responseTravel required between agency able to participate in meetings, training, and events that require prolonged sitting, standing, and occasional lifting of materials QUALIFICATIONSMinimum RequirementsMaster level or higher relating to the core area of responsibilityBCBA Credential is requiredMin two years’ experience in human services or nonprofit organizations.Facility in written and spoken English.High level of personal organization.High level of proficiency with computers.Must be sensitive to and willing to work with clients from highly diverse backgrounds that include race, ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, physical and mental health history, and socio-economic status.Must be willing and flexible regarding location of delivery service to clients.Frequent travel is required between agency sites and to various local and as needed regional, or national locations.Valid driver’s license required.Requirements for Continued EmploymentAdherence to Autism Delaware policies and
