Life doesn’t always follow a fixed schedule. That’s why we created the Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Checkpoint in Easton, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.86 / Hour

3.1 Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)

• Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with access control systems and badge management.
• Experience in managing security protocols and ensuring compliance with access policies is preferred.
• Candidates may be required to provide examples of previous roles where they utilized access control systems.

3.2 Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)

• Candidates must exhibit proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks.
• Familiarity with common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, email platforms) is essential.
• Candidates may be assessed on their ability to navigate technology during the interview process.

3.3 Customer Service Experience (B219)

• Candidates must possess prior customer service experience, demonstrating effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in handling customer inquiries, complaints, and providing solutions is required.
• Candidates should be prepared to discuss specific scenarios where they successfully managed customer interactions.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or employees at a commercial real estate front desk while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and/or appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and delivery records.
• Monitor access to the location, observe lobby activity and security-related systems, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, provide general location information, and communicate professionally with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
