About the team
Data Security protects Mastercard's information assets by establishing classification standards, implementing loss prevention controls, advancing DSPM capabilities, and enabling secure use of data across the enterprise. The team provides governance, visibility, and enforcement capabilities to reduce data exposure risk while supporting business innovation and regulatory compliance.
What we’re looking for
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or accelerated Master’s degree, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
- Previous internship in cybersecurity working with large and complex data sets.
- Demonstrated knowledge of AI technologies and tools through hands-on projects, research, coursework, or practical application.
- Strong interest in cybersecurity, evidenced by involvement in student organizations, Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions, personal projects, industry events, or pursuit of relevant certifications.
- Eagerness to continuously learn and stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply technical concepts to real-world security challenges.
- This role is not eligible for Mastercard’s work authorization sponsorship.
