Responsibilities

-Analyse and document business requirements for BI projects.

-Design and develop BI semantic models and datasets.

-Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into data insights and technical requirements.

-Analyse and interpret data from relational source systems and BI platforms.

-Define data models and ETL mapping rules based on business requirements.

-Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure data quality and accuracy.

-Provide training and support to users of BI reporting tools.

Essential skills

-Strong SQL skills.

-Knowledge of BI data modelling concepts, including dimensional modelling (Star Schema and/or Snowflake Schema).

-Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data from relational databases and BI systems.

-Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications, including data models and ETL mapping rules.

-Experience developing datasets and semantic models using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI reporting tools.

-Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
