We're looking for a driven and commercially focused Business Development Manager to join our Food & Beverage division in Sydney. This is a genuine growth role focused on identifying, developing and winning new business opportunities across food and beverage manufacturing. You'll partner with production sites throughout New South Wales, helping customers improve food safety outcomes, operational performance and regulatory compliance through Ecolab's market-leading hygiene and sanitation solutions.

The Opportunity

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for building a pipeline of new opportunities and converting prospect accounts into long-term Ecolab customers.

You'll engage directly with manufacturing leaders to understand their operational challenges and demonstrate how Ecolab's hygiene programs, sanitation solutions and technical expertise can help improve plant performance, food safety and cost efficiency.

This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and winning new business within manufacturing environments.

What You'll Be Doing

• Identify, develop and secure new food and beverage manufacturing customers across New South Wales.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders across production, operations, engineering, quality, food safety and procurement.
• Conduct site assessments and identify opportunities to improve hygiene, sanitation and food safety outcomes.
• Present tailored solutions that deliver measurable operational and commercial value.
• Prepare commercial proposals, lead negotiations and close new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical and service teams to ensure successful customer implementation.
• Maintain market and competitor awareness to identify emerging opportunities.

What We're Looking For

You are a high-performing sales professional with a proven track record of business development and customer acquisition. You thrive in a target-driven environment and enjoy building relationships with customers to solve complex operational challenges.

Experience selling into food and beverage manufacturing environments will be highly regarded, particularly within:

• Food safety
• Hygiene and sanitation
• Industrial chemicals
• Cleaning and disinfection solutions
• Manufacturing services
• Process equipment
• Packaging solutions
• Technical B2B services
• Industrial or production-focused environments
