About the role
Do you want to design embedded software that powers life-saving diagnostic devices? Join our R&D team in Barcelona and develop firmware for next-generation IVD instruments. Your work will enable precise biological assays and improve patient outcomes worldwide.
This is an onsite based role in Barcelona, Spain.
Your Tasks
Design, implement, and maintain embedded firmware (C/C++) for hardware subsystems.
Develop low-level drivers, control loops, and real-time components for microcontrollers.
Work hands-on with prototype instruments and laboratory tools.
Translate product requirements into detailed firmware specifications.
Create manufacturing tests, calibration routines, and service diagnostics.
Ensure data integrity, cybersecurity, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems teams.
Your Profile
Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Automation) or Physics.
Experience in scientific or industrial instrumentation, preferably regulated environments.
Strong programming skills (Python, C, C++).
Knowledge of AI/ML and data processing is a plus.
Advance level of English, both written and spoken (required).
