Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Immunization Zone Patrol in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a hospital setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and contribute to Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven team culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals at a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, or policy violations to designated personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with supervisors, healthcare staff, and emergency responders regarding incidents and observed conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid NYS security guard license.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
