We are seeking a Chemical Operator to support the safe and efficient manufacture of specialty chemical products. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment, performing material handling and quality checks, maintaining production records, and supporting shipping and receiving activities while adhering to all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Operate, monitor, and control chemical reactors and related process equipment to produce specialty chemical products in accordance with established ISO procedures, production formulas, and process parameters including temperature, pressure, flow rates, and viscosity.
- Perform material handling activities, equipment preparation, raw material additions, inventory monitoring, and utility system oversight, including cooling water, tempered water, nitrogen, instrument air, wastewater, demineralization, and other plant support systems.
- Conduct in-process and final product testing to verify product quality and make process adjustments as required.
- Complete production and inventory transactions in SAP, maintain accurate records, and support Responsible Care, environmental, and safety compliance initiatives.
- Prepare reusable containers and packaging equipment for filling through cleaning, inspection, maintenance, and required DOT testing while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support shipping and receiving operations, including receiving and shipping raw materials and finished goods, processing SAP transactions, loading and unloading bulk materials, product storage, paperwork completion, and the cleaning, loading, and sampling of portable and custom bulk equipment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in chemical manufacturing, industrial production, process operations, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed operating procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP/inventory management systems preferred.
- Forklift, bulk material handling, or shipping and receiving experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

The expected compensation range for this position is between $47,960.00 and $70,334.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
