Presales Solution Cybersecurity Expert

Job Description:

DXC Technology Italy is looking for a Presales Solution Cybersecurity Expert to join our Security team.

Our Security Services support clients in assessing risks and proactively protecting their business environments through advanced cybersecurity solutions, intelligent automation, and industry-leading technologies. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping organizations design effective security architectures and address complex cybersecurity challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of cybersecurity solutions for complex client opportunities, ensuring alignment with business objectives, security requirements, and DXC best practices.

• Provide deep technical expertise across cybersecurity architectures, platforms, and services, serving as a reference point for internal teams and customers.

• Engage directly with clients to analyze requirements, assess challenges, and define secure and scalable solution strategies.

• Produce and present high-quality technical proposals, solution documentation, and architectural recommendations.

• Collaborate with delivery, consulting, and partner ecosystems to incorporate best-of-breed technologies into proposed solutions.

• Contribute to the definition and adoption of cybersecurity standards, methodologies, and reusable assets.

We Require

• Proven experience in cybersecurity solution design, presales, consulting, or security architecture roles.

• Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity domains such as Identity & Access Management, Cloud Security, Application Security, Network Security, Security Operations, Data Protection, and Zero Trust architectures.

• Experience designing enterprise-grade security solutions in complex and multi-vendor environments.

• Strong understanding of security frameworks, standards, and industry best practices.

• Strong communication and presentation capabilities, including experience engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience working with leading cybersecurity vendors and technology partners.

• Good command of written and spoken English.
  

Nice to Have

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, SABSA, Azure Security Engineer, AWS Security Specialty, Google Cloud Security Engineer, or equivalent.

• Knowledge of security automation, AI-driven security capabilities, and modern security operations platforms.

• Familiarity with international security and compliance frameworks.

• Experience with Generative AI tools is a plus.
  

Location

Milan, Rome, Bari with smart working possibility.

The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €41.000.
Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l'industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti) and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including responsibility, experience and skills.
