Kimball & Beecher Family Dentistry in Clive, Iowa is looking for a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our clinical team. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, detail-oriented, and excited to provide excellent patient care.

Whether you’re an experienced Registered Dental Assistant or a motivated dental assistant looking to build your skills, we’re willing to train the right person.

What You’ll Do

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll work closely with our dentists and clinical team to provide an excellent patient experience and support efficient, high-quality dental care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist dentists and the clinical team during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care
• Take dental radiographs as trained and permitted
• Prepare patients for treatment and help them feel comfortable throughout their visit
• Provide patients with oral hygiene education and pre- and post-operative instructions
• Sterilize instruments and follow infection control and OSHA protocols
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked treatment rooms
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
• Communicate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and other members of the clinical team
• Help create a positive, welcoming experience for every patient

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Iowa preferred, but not required
• Previous dental assisting experience is a plus
• Willingness to train motivated candidates who are new to dental assisting
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable and organized
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Passion for providing excellent patient care

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dental assisting experience preferred, but not required
• Iowa RDA certification preferred, but not required
