KLA is seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven Emerging Talent Recruiter to join our Emerging Talent team in Milpitas, California. This role is responsible for developing and executing innovative university recruiting strategies while managing full-cycle hiring for interns and new college graduates across a variety of technical disciplines.
The ideal candidate combines strong recruiting fundamentals with the ability to build long-term talent pipelines through strategic partnerships with universities, faculty, student organizations, and industry associations. This role requires significant travel during peak recruiting seasons to represent KLA on campus and at industry events.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for intern and new college graduate hiring, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer development, and onboarding support.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to develop hiring strategies and deliver exceptional candidate experiences.
- Proactively source and engage top emerging talent across engineering, software, data science, supply chain, and other critical business functions.
- Provide market insights, pipeline updates, and hiring recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ensure recruiting processes align with company policies, employment regulations, and best practices.
Strategic University Recruiting
- Develop and manage strategic recruiting relationships with key universities, community colleges, faculty, student organizations, and career centers.
- Serve as KLA's ambassador on campus by creating meaningful engagement strategies that enhance brand awareness and build diverse talent pipelines.
- Partner with hiring leaders to identify future talent needs and develop targeted sourcing strategies.
- Analyze recruiting metrics and market trends to continuously improve recruiting effectiveness and campus engagement.
- Plan and execute campus visits, information sessions, career fairs, networking events, and student engagement programs.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Influence hiring decisions through data-driven insights and talent market expertise.
- Collaborate with fellow recruiters to support hiring initiatives across functions and business groups.
- Participate in strategic workforce planning and forecasting discussions related to emerging talent hiring.
Programs and Events
- Support the planning and execution of intern, co-op, and new college graduate programs.
- Partner with marketing and employer branding teams to create compelling talent attraction campaigns.
- Represent KLA at national conferences, professional associations, and industry networking opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of recruiting experience, including full-cycle recruiting responsibilities.
- Experience recruiting for technical or engineering-related roles.
- Demonstrated ability to form relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle multiple requisitions and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively during peak recruiting seasons.
- Experience in university recruiting, campus relations, or emerging talent programs.
- Experience supporting semiconductor, engineering, software, manufacturing, or other technical organizations.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruiting technologies, and talent analytics.
- Experience planning recruiting events and leading university partnerships.
- Passion for developing early-career talent and building future talent pipelines.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree plus 2 years' experience or Masters degree and 0 years' experience.

Total Rewards
Base Pay Range: $78,900.00 - $115,700.00 Annually Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLAKLA’s total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.
