Overview

 The role is expected to accelerate Digital Commerce growth across non-anchor markets (ICF/IDF/Asia Foods) by driving strategy, performance management, customer excellence, capability building, and community leadership, while ensuring markets leverage best practices, insights, and scalable solutions to deliver sustainable business results.

Responsibilities

This Role needs to combine strategic thinking with a willingness to take a hands-on approach to customer facing (for regional / local priority customers, together with market teams), performance tracking, market follow-ups and capability deployment. This is neither a pure regional strategy / capability role nor a reporting or customer management role. It is a regional integrator role that requires strong influencing skills to align and advance several markets at different levels of Digital Commerce maturity.

 

 

1. Digital Commerce Strategy and AOP Planning

  • Lead the development of Digital Commerce strategy and define the role of dComm within each market’s commercial agenda in Non-Anchor Foods markets- ICF, Asia Foods, IDF
  • Partner with market teams to set growth targets, identify key growth building blocks and develop priority initiatives.
  • Support market dComm AOP development, including investment priorities, execution roadmaps and KPIs.

2. Performance Management and Business Insights

  • Consolidate and track non-anchor dComm performance across markets, subchannels and priority customers.
  • Monitor performance against prior year and AOP targets, identifying key growth drivers, risks and areas requiring intervention.
  • Provide regular performance updates and actionable insights to regional leadership and market teams.

3. Customer Strategy and Execution

  • Support regional and local customer JBP processes by bringing cross-market perspectives, customer insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Partner with customer and market teams to define priority initiatives, success measures and execution plans.
  • Participate in market business reviews and track the implementation and impact of key customer initiatives.

4. Capability Building and Best-Practice Deployment

  • Identify common capability gaps across markets and develop relevant tools, playbooks, workshops and learning interventions.
  • Consolidate market best practices and translate them into practical solutions that can be replicated across Non-Anchor Foods markets- ICF, Asia Foods, IDF.
  • Connect with the International Digital Commerce team (within CCO organization) to access, localize and deploy relevant global frameworks and toolkits.

5. APAC Digital Commerce Community

  • Build and lead the APAC non-anchor dComm community to facilitate regular sharing, learning and collaboration.
  • Connect markets facing similar challenges and promote the reuse of proven solutions and learnings.

Qualifications

1. Qualifications    

•    MBA or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or Strategy preferred.•    Additional certifications in Digital Commerce, Data Analytics, Revenue Growth Management, or Digital Marketing are advantageous.•    Strong understanding of Digital Commerce ecosystems, online retail dynamics, and customer joint business planning.•    Expertise in performance analytics, business reporting, KPI management, and translating data into actionable insights.•    Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital shelf management, marketplace strategies, and customer media.•    Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar).

2. Experience    

•    Minimum 10-12+ years of progressive experience in Commercial, Sales, E-Commerce, Digital Commerce, Customer Development, Business Planning, or Strategy roles.•    Minimum 5 years of experience leading regional or multi-market initiatives across South-East Asia/APAC or other international geographies.•    Proven experience developing commercial strategies, annual operating plans (AOPs), and growth roadmaps.•    Demonstrated success in managing Digital Commerce or Omni-channel businesses and delivering sustainable growth.•    Experience working with major e-commerce platforms, digital retailers, or omnichannel customers.•    Strong track record of partnering with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Digital functions.•    Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Retail, E-Commerce, or related industries preferred.
