Summary of Job Duties:
The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) offers a comprehensive, two-year Clinical Cranial Neurosurgery Fellowship. Designed for post-residency neurosurgeons, this advanced program provides high-volume, immersive clinical exposure to a wide spectrum of adult cranial pathologies.
Qualifications:
- M.D. required.
- Arkansas Medical License.
Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced surgical and clinical skills in cranial and skull base neurosurgery.
- Gain experience in the evaluation and management of patients requiring complex cranial and skull base neurosurgical care.
- Build the clinical judgment and surgical expertise necessary to independently manage complex neurosurgical cases.
- Develop the knowledge and skills needed to lead a modern, comprehensive cranial and skull base neurosurgical practice.
- Participate in advanced clinical and surgical training designed to prepare for independent practice.
