Manages business development activities, aligns sales strategies and grows business opportunities and revenue from new and existing market segments and channels for the assigned organizational units.

The Head of Workforce Solutions, North America will lead operational excellence, customer-focused growth, and strategic innovation across the Workforce Solutions portfolio within NAM CS. This role is accountable for strengthening revenue predictability, improving operational efficiency, advancing scalable workforce services, and leading teams through a disciplined innovation and execution model.


Operational Excellence and Customer-Centric Solutions

  • Drive revenue predictability and financial target achievement through disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, conversion tracking, and execution rigor.
  • Improve operational efficiency by simplifying processes, reducing friction, clarifying ownership, and building scalable ways of working that enhance productivity and enable growth.
  • Strengthen end-to-end execution across sales, finance, operations, product management, and implementation teams to improve order intake, revenue realization, margin performance, and delivery outcomes.
  • Develop strategic sales opportunities and go-to-market execution for Workforce Solutions through strong value proposition, sales enablement, and collaboration with internal and external channel partners.
  • Build and maintain executive-level customer relationships, using customer feedback and performance metrics to improve satisfaction, service quality, and measurable customer value.
  • Lead a multi-layered organization by developing managers, building accountability, and creating an engaged, high-performing organization prepared for growth.

Innovation with Workforce Solutions

  • Drive innovation across workforce services, including but not limited to talent aggregation, remote scanning, flexible workforce models, and other scalable service offerings that address customer workforce challenges.
  • Identify, develop, and mature new Workforce Solutions concepts in alignment with customer needs, market trends, and NAM CS growth priorities.
  • Develop business cases and investment recommendations for new or expanded workforce services, including financial, operational, risk, and scalability considerations.
  • Assess market opportunities, customer needs, and partner or supplier options to prioritize the Workforce Solutions innovation portfolio.
  • Partner with the Education Lifecycle Management team to move Innovation initiatives through appropriate governance, development, validation, and launch processes.
  • Collaborate with product management, sales, operations, and implementation teams to translate validated concepts into customer-ready offerings.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Strong executive communication, leadership, and influencing skills, with the ability to align senior stakeholders across functions.
  • Experience leading multi-layer teams, developing managers, building accountability, and creating an engaged, high-performing organization.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue predictability, operational performance, customer satisfaction, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to improve business processes, clarify ownership, and build scalable operating models that support growth.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives across sales, finance, operations, product management, and implementation teams.
  • Ability to translate customer workforce challenges into commercially viable service offerings and practical execution plans.
  • Ability to develop and manage market, operational, and financial models with minimal supervision.
  • High level of critical thinking and problem solving in bringing successful resolution to complex, high-impact, and cross-functional challenges.
  • Results-oriented mindset with focus on profit, customer satisfaction, market share, and sustainable growth goals.
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel, data analysis, and executive presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Required travel up to 50%.

 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • 10+ years of operational experience in clinical education, business management, healthcare staffing, workforce services, or technology-enabled service delivery.
  • Experience with healthcare workforce services, remote operations, remote scanning, staffing models, or other scalable service offerings.
  • Experience with innovation governance, product or service lifecycle management, stage-gate development, or similar portfolio development processes.
  • Experience with customer satisfaction metrics, voice-of-customer programs, service quality improvement, or customer value measurement.
  • Experience with lean, operational excellence, continuous improvement, business transformation, or organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Strategic planning, organizational development, data analytics, reporting, revenue forecasting, and profitability forecasting experience.
  • Advanced degree or relevant leadership, operational excellence, or healthcare business certification preferred.

 

Job Location: Cary, NC preferred. Remote within USA

The base pay range for this position is:

$193,390 - $265,914

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
