Shape Growth in Industrial Markets as a Sales Engineer
Are you an energetic and results-oriented sales professional ready for your next challenge? Join a role where you will drive sustainable and profitable growth across the industrial market, working with customers in Power Plants, Industrial Gas, Semiconductor, and Bio industries. You will take ownership of sales activities, develop long-term customer relationships, and help customers identify the right solutions for their needs. In this role, your efforts will directly contribute to business growth, customer satisfaction, and key account development while collaborating with colleagues across the organization to deliver value to customers.
Your responsibilities
- Drive proactive sales activities to achieve business volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Identify, research, and engage prospective customers, converting opportunities into long-term business relationships.
- Visit existing and new customers to pursue sales leads and achieve revenue targets.
- Assess customer needs and recommend suitable products, services, plant solutions, rebuilds, and spare parts.
- Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules within approved authority limits and close sales orders.
- Manage customer relationships and act as a trusted sales partner for key accounts.
- Prepare and follow sales budgets, forecasts, action plans, and sales activities.
- Lead sales and project-related work within project teams while adhering to agreed budgets.
- Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to increase sales opportunities, improve profitability, and support effective data management.
- Initiate handovers to project organizations, service teams, and other relevant business units after sales, ensuring quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
Expectations from you
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience within an industrial business environment.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Experience identifying new business opportunities and developing customer accounts.
- Knowledge of sales planning, forecasting, and budget management.
- Valve technical and application knowledge is preferred.
- Good communication skills with the ability to build relationships across customer and internal stakeholder groups.
- Business-level English proficiency.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Windows-based environments.
- Availability to travel as required.

To succeed, you will need proven experience in industrial sales, strong customer engagement capabilities, and the ability to independently manage sales opportunities from prospecting through order closure. You should be comfortable working with key accounts, identifying customer needs, leading sales-related project activities, and collaborating across business units to achieve growth and profitability objectives. A solid understanding of technical sales and a proactive, relationship-focused approach will be important for success.
