As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a caring environment through teamwork, reliability, and integrity while using technology to document activities and respond to security-related needs.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility procedures, providing directions and assistance while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and required activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
