Description
Take the next step in your Transurban journey.
Here's an opportunity to grow your skills and shape your path at Transurban. We're building a culture where you can apply your strengths and develop the skills you need for tomorrow.
About the Opportunity
As an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our critical systems and data are secure through strong Customer-Focused Thinking and by managing who has access to what, when, and why.
You’ll join a team that champions Collaborative Delivery, working together to protect our technology landscape through open communication and shared expertise.
As our Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist, you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It is complex, meaningful, and exciting work so that our customers experience faster, safer, and more reliable journeys.
How you'll make an impact (your day-to-day):
- Engineer smarter security: This is hands-on Problem Solving. You will design, build, and automate the systems that safeguard our employee and customer accounts, making access simpler and more secure.
- Strengthen our digital defences: With your Commercial Acumen, you will implement and enhance modern identity solutions like Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) that protect our enterprise.
- Drive data-led insights: Using your AI & Data Literacy, you will develop and manage dashboards that provide a clear view of our system health, helping the team to proactively identify and address security risks.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and a drive to adapt. We value the transferable skills and experience you could bring, including:
- Applying Critical Thinking: Using your scripting or programming skills to automate processes and connect systems, making our security smarter and more efficient.
- Managing security platforms: Applying a solid grasp of identity management principles (like SSO or MFA) to configure and run enterprise-level systems.
- Building strong relationships: Understanding how core authentication services work together to enable secure access across our large IT environment, which requires strong Relationship Building with other technology teams.
- Finding the signal in the noise: Using data from system logs and security tools to monitor for risks and ensure we meet our compliance goals.
- Demonstrating Adaptability: Applying your technical knowledge, gained through hands-on experience or formal education, to tackle new and evolving challenges.
Taking ownership of your career and development means exploring opportunities that stretch you. We aren't looking for a perfect checklist; we are looking for a strong foundation. If your experience aligns with some of the above and you bring a readiness to adapt, we want to hear from you!
