Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a visionary and highly skilled Senior Manager of Business Intelligence (BI) to lead our data strategy and analytics initiatives within the Samsung Mobile eXperience (MX) division. This strategic role is pivotal in shaping our business performance through advanced data analysis, executive-level reporting, and the pioneering use of agentic AI. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the full data-to-insights lifecycle, transforming complex information into actionable strategies that drive competitive advantage and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Analysis: Lead the comprehensive analysis of mobile product sales (smartphones and ecosystem products), market trends, and competitive landscapes. Go beyond reporting to deliver strategic recommendations that inform executive decision-making and long-term business planning.
- Cross-Functional Ownership: Drive collaboration with key cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations) to build and scale trusted, governed data products that are fully aligned with overarching business goals.
- Agentic AI & Advanced Analytics: Champion the development and integration of agentic AI applications to revolutionize data workflows, automate reporting, and unlock deeper consumer and competitor insights.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Own the analysis of internal and external business environments to proactively identify key issues, quantify risks and opportunities, and develop data-driven action plans to strengthen our market position.
- Executive Communication: Translate highly complex data and analytical models into clear, compelling narratives and actionable insights for senior leadership. Present findings and strategic recommendations to executive audiences.
- Process Innovation: Continuously evaluate and enhance internal capabilities, data infrastructure, and analytical processes to build a best-in-class business intelligence function.

Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in business intelligence, data science, or a related analytical field. Direct experience in the telecommunications or consumer electronics industry is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Mastery of SQL for complex database querying and data manipulation. Advanced proficiency in Excel and BI visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Demonstrated experience with advanced analytical models and a strong understanding of agentic AI applications.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. A Master’s degree is highly preferred.
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptional ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, from technical teams to senior executives. Proven experience in leading projects and mentoring team members.
