As a Senior Product Manager (Data Platforms), you will define and lead the strategy, operating model, roadmap, and adoption of enterprise data platforms. You will initiate cross-functional programs, design scalable product and governance practices, and align business, analytics, architecture, governance, and engineering leaders around measurable platform outcomes. This individual contributor role is ideal for a product leader who can shape direction, influence enterprise decisions, and translate strategy into coordinated execution.

 

Key Responsibilities

Platform vision & roadmap:

Define and own the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap (with clear success metrics) for one or more enterprise-scale data platforms. Ensure the roadmap aligns with business priorities and delivers measurable value.

 

Process design & feature delivery:

Design scalable product operating models, intake and prioritization frameworks, and feature rollout strategies. Initiate major platform capabilities, establish readiness and adoption expectations, and provide leadership across release planning, change enablement, communications, training, and post-launch measurement.

 

Translate business needs into platform capabilities:

Partner with users and stakeholders to understand business needs, pain points, and workflows. Convert requirements into actionable platform features, user stories, and acceptance criteria that align business outcomes with engineering execution.

 

Cross-functional leadership:

Collaborate closely with data engineering, architecture, governance, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and well-governed data platforms. Establish engagement models that drive alignment, accountability, and efficient decision-making across stakeholders.

 

Platform governance, health & use-case alignment:

Define and drive platform governance strategy, use-case review frameworks, and adoption standards across the enterprise. Partner with senior leaders, architects, and governance stakeholders to ensure platform investments are used appropriately, align business needs with platform capabilities, and balance innovation with long-term platform health, scalability, and strategic objectives.

 

Subject matter expertise & advisory:

Serve as a trusted advisor on platform capabilities, data domains, and best practices. Guide business and analytics teams in leveraging platform capabilities and data products to achieve business outcomes and unlock value.

 

Community of Practice & User Engagement:

Establish and lead a platform user community that strengthens engagement, adoption, and product feedback loops. Create forums for users to share experiences, identify emerging needs, exchange best practices, and collaborate on solutions that enhance platform capabilities and business outcomes.

 

What you have

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in product management, data platforms or data products, or senior business analysis roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Self-starter mindset with adaptability, resilience, and a strong focus on delivering outcomes.
• Experience designing and implementing business processes, governance frameworks, and operating models that support product delivery, user adoption, and organizational effectiveness.
• Experience leading feature launches, platform rollouts, and change management initiatives across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, control design, data quality, data lineage, and data integrity.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead communities of practice, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and adoption of best practices across cross-functional teams.
• Experience gathering and translating user needs into prioritized requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience defining, measuring, and communicating product or platform success through KPIs, adoption metrics, and business outcomes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and present effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), including backlog management, roadmap planning, and prioritization.
• Flexibility and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving organization.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in product management, data platforms or data products, or senior business analysis roles
• Advanced degree in engineering, information systems, or business administration.
• Experience in Financial Services (Brokerage, Banking) industry
• Experience leading enterprise data management and governance programs, including data quality, data integrity, metadata management and data policy controls.
• Experience leading large-scale platform transformations and enterprise feature rollouts across multiple business units.
• Proven success by creating and scaling communities of practitioners, centers of excellence, or product management communities that drive organizational maturity and adoption.
• Prior experience in consulting (e.g., process design, technology or data strategy)
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Google BigQuery).
• Strong senior stakeholder communication skills with a track record of developing polished & compelling presentations and documentation
