Job Title: QA Analyst – Anaplan & Custom Applications

Role Summary

Nextpower is looking for a QA Analyst to support projects involving Anaplan, custom applications such as ASN, and full-stack solutions. The role will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams to understand requirements, prepare test plans, identify defects, and help deliver reliable, high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Review business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.
• Test Anaplan models, calculations, workflows, data loads, integrations, and user access.
• Validate custom applications such as ASN across user interfaces, business workflows, and backend services.
• Test full-stack functionality, including front-end behavior, APIs, integrations, and database interactions.
• Use SQL or other data query tools to validate application data and backend processing.
• Log, track, and follow up on defects; work with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, design discussions, and release readiness activities.
• Maintain clear test documentation and provide regular updates on test progress, risks, and results.
• Support production validation and investigate reported issues when needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage and introduce automation where appropriate.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software QA, including hands-on testing of enterprise applications.
• Experience testing Anaplan solutions, including models, data flows, calculations, or integrations.
• Experience testing web-based custom applications and full-stack solutions.
• Good understanding of APIs and experience with tools such as Postman or similar.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira.
• Understanding of software development life cycles and Agile delivery.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with test automation tools or frameworks.
• Exposure to integration testing across enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with front-end and backend technologies, such as JavaScript, React, .NET, Java, or similar.
• Experience testing cloud-based applications and data pipelines.
• Anaplan certification or relevant Anaplan project experience.
