The role

We’re looking for a passionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Surgical Ward Team. Putting patients first, you’ll be given time to care for each person as a unique individual.

Our Ward Team are busy and colleagues will rely on your support. Together, you’ll deliver the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment. You’ll be valued for your skills and expertise and given lots of opportunity to develop, because at Ramsay Health Care UK, we know our people are our most important asset.

What you’ll bring with you

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proven customer services skills
• Be a highly motivated individual
• Enjoy working in constantly and rapidly changing environments
• Great communication skills
• Flexible approach to your duties and your hours

What is a Bank contract:

 A Bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK is a flexible employment agreement where you are not committed to a set number of hours per week. Instead, you work on an ad-hoc basis, filling in shifts that we have available in our hospitals. A Bank contract is ideal for individuals seeking flexibility, as it allows you to choose shifts that fit your availability, leaving you with a greater work-life balance. Bank contracts are also a fantastic way to secure additional income alongside other contracted work. Our Bank staff play a crucial role in maintaining service levels during peak times or staff shortages, ensuring that patient care remains uninterrupted.
