- Coordinate projects from planning through to implementation, ensuring alignment with wider business priorities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver programmes effectively and on time.
- Visit stores to review completed works, sign-off installations, and support handover into operational use.
Financial & Budget Management
- Support management of the capacity investment budget, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective budget utilisation.
- Review project costs and challenge where appropriate to ensure value for money.
- Identify and help deliver cost-saving opportunities through improved processes and smarter solutions.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify, trial, and implement innovative solutions to improve capacity and operational efficiency.
- Support the development of new operating models that enhance productivity and customer service.
- Use data and insights to recommend improvements that drive better outcomes for stores and customers.
Strategic Capacity Planning
- Support the development and delivery of long-term capacity strategies across the business.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to explore new approaches to storage, fulfilment, and parcel management.
- Help reduce reliance on traditional space solutions through creative and scalable alternatives.
Cost-to-Serve Optimisation
- Support initiatives that reduce operational costs while maintaining excellent service levels.
- Ensure new solutions deliver measurable efficiency improvements and business benefits.
- Track and report on the impact of projects, ensuring cost savings are clearly evidenced and embedded into business performance.
About You
You'll be someone who:
- Has experience coordinating projects, programmes, or operational initiatives in a retail, logistics, supply chain, or similar environment.
- Is highly organised with strong planning and prioritisation skills.
- Enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders and building effective relationships.
- Has strong analytical skills and can use data to support decision-making.
- Is commercially aware and comfortable working with budgets and cost improvement initiatives.
- Has a continuous improvement mindset and enjoys identifying innovative solutions to business challenges.
- Is willing to travel to stores as required.
