Job Summary:
The Anderson College of Business and Computing at Regis University in Denver, Colorado invites applications for a Lecturer of Marketing (full-time) to begin in Fall of 2027. Qualified candidates will have an MBA, Master’s Degree in Marketing, or a PhD in Marketing or a doctorate in a related field and will show potential for excellent teaching. Applicants should have experience working in a marketing-related field, and successful candidates will be expected to maintain some form of practice in order to maintain their currency in the discipline while teaching. Applicants with knowledge and experience in the areas of digital marketing, advertising and promotion, and/or international marketing are preferred.Major Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to teach about nine graduate and/or undergraduate classes in their discipline based on the needs of various programs. The modalities may vary—in-person, online asynchronous, or hybrid—depending on the course, but it is expected that the candidate will primarily teach on campus.
Maintain currency in the field of marketing through industry practice (e.g., consulting projects, work in industry) and/or scholarship (e.g., research publications, presenting at conferences).
Conduct service to the department and college as a participating faculty member (e.g., hold office hours, write letters of recommendation for students, attend department meetings, serve on committees, etc.).
Advise students around course registration needs.
Minimum Qualifications
A graduate degree in marketing or a related field
Ability to design, develop, and teach marketing courses
Demonstrated potential to contribute to academic life beyond the classroom
Ability to teach digital marketing, advertising and promotion, and/or international marketing preferred
