Our unique position as one of the country's largest employers, coupled with our commitment to positively impact the lives of all Canadians, provides our colleagues a range of opportunities and experiences to help Canadians Live Life Well®.

At Loblaw Companies Limited, we succeed through collaboration and commitment and set a high bar for ourselves and those around us. Whether you are just starting your career, re-entering the workforce, or looking for a new job, this is where you belong.

What the role does

The Senior Change Manager, Strategic Partnership Management (SPM) is responsible for the coordination and delivery oversight of non-BAU requests between Loblaw and EQ Bank as part of the strategic partnership. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Partnership Management, this role serves as the single front door for change management and governance activity related to the Loblaw / EQ Bank partnership — receiving, triaging, prioritizing and routing inbound requests from EQ Bank while also coordinating outbound commitments from Loblaw to EQB.

This role sits at the intersection of partnership governance and execution. It orchestrates change activity such as marketing, digital, data sharing and technology requests across Loblaw's internal functions and business units to ensure that new requests are met in a timely, consistent and commercially sound manner. The role ensures that change management activity is well-coordinated and that related obligations under the partnership agreement are tracked, prioritized, and delivered.

This is a high-visibility role requiring strong project management skills, ability to influence across a matrixed organization and communication skills to manage both internal stakeholders and an external partner relationship at a senior level.

What you'll do

Loyalty & Partnerships

  • Own intake, triage and prioritization of non-BAU requests from EQ Bank, ensuring they are assessed and routed appropriately.
  • Coordinate partnership requests across Loblaw business, marketing, digital, data and technology teams.
  • Build and maintain partnership roadmaps, campaign plans and activation calendars.
  • Track progress against partnership commitments, milestones and deliverables, escalating risks, conflicts and capacity constraints.
  • Act as a key day-to-day contact for EQ Bank and help ensure a consistent, high-quality partner experience.
  • Support alignment between Loblaw and EQ Bank on priorities, timing and shared objectives.

P&L Management

  • Track partnership performance, including key performance indicators, campaign volumes and financials.
  • Maintain visibility into relevant financial commitments and deliverables tied to the partnership.
  • Support reporting on performance against plan and highlight issues, risks or areas requiring attention.
  • Prepare inputs for business reviews and senior leadership reporting that provide clear visibility into financial and partnership performance.

Strategy Management of Payments

  • Support governance and execution across Payments Network partnerships, including Visa, Mastercard and Global Payments.
  • Coordinate planning, progress tracking and delivery across Payments Network initiatives.
  • Maintain visibility into partnership obligations, milestones and deliverables.
  • Support governance reporting for senior steering committees and operating reviews.
  • Monitor relevant Payments Network updates and support the tracking and reporting of regulatory changes.
  • Identify and escalate contractual, operational, financial or delivery risks.

Other Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong governance across SPM activities, including intake logs, project plans, status trackers and commitment records.
  • Coordinate cross-functional working sessions to clarify scope, timing, ownership, dependencies and delivery expectations.
  • Prepare clear, decision-ready materials for Monthly Business Reviews, executive committees and other senior forums.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular visibility into delivery status, upcoming activities, risks and decisions.
  • Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve governance processes, tools, templates and ways of working.
  • Contribute to post-implementation reviews and lessons learned to improve planning and execution over time.
  • Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders on priorities, timelines, decisions and changes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in project management, change management, program management or a related coordination role.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and competing priorities in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Experience acting as a central coordination or intake point across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills, including the ability to prioritize, escalate and push back constructively.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with confidence managing senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience preparing executive-level reporting and status materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to partner experience and delivery excellence.
  • Familiarity with loyalty programs, marketing or campaign management is a strong asset.
