Description
Successful applicants will be mid‑level Contract Specialists (5+ years) with strong U.S. federal contracting experience to support prime contracts, task orders, pricing, and project setup. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small, fast‑moving company and can work independently in a mostly remote environment while collaborating across teams.
Responsibilities:
- Administer U.S. federal prime contracts, task orders, mods, and related documentation
- Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and agency‑specific requirements
- Support pricing, BOEs, cost volumes, and financial reviews for proposals and modifications
- Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project setup in the accounting/ERP system
- Track deliverables, funding, PoP, and contractual obligations
- Interpret contract terms and advise internal teams on compliance
- Assist the Subcontracts Specialist as needed, ensuring proper flow‑downs, subcontract compliance, and timely execution of subcontract actions
- Coordinate with Program Management, Finance, and Operations on contract requirements and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 5+ years in U.S. federal contract administration or subcontract management
- Strong knowledge of FAR and U.S. federal contracting processes
- Experience with pricing, cost analysis, or financial modeling
- Hands‑on experience with WBS setup and project structure management
- Strong communication, organization, autonomy, and attention to detail
- Experience in a small business or lean environment preferred
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with DCAA compliance
- Knowledge of JAMIS Prime, Costpoint, Unanet, or similar systems
- Experience supporting proposals or BOE development
The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 DOE/DOQ.
