Job Description:
- Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs
- Interface with customers, products and sales support
- Working with the supervisor on various tasks
- Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
- Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
- Various related duties as required
Specific Skills & Experience
- Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification
- Experience as a Heavy Duty Technician operating a service truck
- Dedication to safety
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
- Valid class 5 driver's license with a successful driver abstract
- Completion or be in the process of completing Finning S-level courses would also be considered an asset
- Team player
Note:
- This position is located out of our Fort McMurray Town Shop facility on a 7x7 continuous shift rotation
- Role will require access to various customer sites around the Wood Buffalo region, a condition of employment is the ability to obtain customer site access (drug & alcohol, fitness testing, wear a respirator where applicable) and will be required to successfully complete necessary training and other activities based on customer requirements
- Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreement
- Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement
- You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted
